The Religious Education Office supports parents in forming their children in our Catholic faith by providing weekly religious education instruction for our children who are in Preschool (ages 3 and 4) through Grade 8 and who do not attend Catholic schools.
Parents have the choice of having their children attend classes at the church or of home schooling their children. Support and materials are provided to parents who choose to home school their children.
Accommodations are made for children who have Special Needs.
The tuition charge per child is $100/year, with a family cap of $200/year for 2 or more children. The tuition fee is an all-inclusive fee, which means that no additional retreat or event charges are asked. Tuition charge help to offset some of the cost of materials. In place of tuition payment, parents may also choose to participate in the “Service in Lieu of Tuition Program,” whereby they commit to assist with certain pre-defined RE events. Please use the Parish Giving link abovr to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
No child is denied the opportunity to participate in any parish sponsored event or PRE classes, due to inability to pay. All children are encouraged to participate in the Religious Program.
The Religious Education Office plans and oversees a number of special events for all families and children of the parish (public schooled, private schooled, home schooled and parochial schooled) throughout the year. Grade level retreats and workshops are scheduled throughout the year. All Special Events are free.
