Who Am I To Judge? Responding to Relativism with Logic and Love
In an age in which preference has replaced morality, many people find it difficult to speak the truth, afraid of the reactions they will receive if they say something is right or wrong. Using engaging stories and personal experience, Edward Sri helps us understand the classical view of morality and equips us to engage relativism, appealing to both the head and the heart. Learn how Catholic morality is all about love, why making a judgment is not judging a person’s soul, and why, in the words of Pope Francis, “relativism wounds people.” DVD Presentation with facilitated small group discussion. For more information, contact the RE Office 717-626-0244.
Diocesan Institute courses
The Office of Adult Religious Education exists to assist adult members of the Diocese of Harrisburg as they journey in faith.
Through offering opportunities for spiritual growth, providing informational and educational resources and training, and networking opportunities with others involved with the religious education adults, this office seeks to enable adults of the diocese to:
- Understand clearly what it means to be an adult Catholic
- Center their lives in the proclamation of the Gospel
- Celebrate liturgies meaningfully
- Witness to their beliefs in acts of charity and service
