¶GIFT BASKET RAFFLE¶
Our parishioners have been extremely generous and creative when it comes to theme baskets for the bazaar. Please consider donating a completed theme basket. Ideas would be a golf basket, soccer basket, movie night, perfume/powder/lotions, candles, chocolates, teas, etc. If you would like to donate new items relating to a theme, we will incorporate them into a basket that we design ourselves. Please call Luba Irwin at 627-4925 if you have any questions.
¶SILENT AUCTION¶

HOW IT WORKS: The Silent
Auction is held during the two
days of the bazaar. Items are donated and displayed for shoppers to see and bid on. Each item has a bid sheet, with a minimum bid. Bidding continues until closing on Saturday, when the high bidder "wins" the item for the amount they have bid. We are currently accepting donations for the Silent Auction. Some suggestions:

*Original artwork (yours or someone else's), prints or reproductions—Once again, this year we would like to showcase our St. James artists.
*Restaurant Gift Certificates—Purchase and donate for the auction or solicit your favorite restaurant to donate the certificate.
*Household items—Purchase and donate or "re-gift" a new item for auction, such as an espresso machine, lamp, flatware, crystal, stemware, accent table, outside statue, set of pots, etc.!
*For business owners—Your products or services may be showcased and bids taken.
*Culinary Creations—Is your talent found in the kitchen? Do you have a special dish or dessert that everyone looks forward to at special times of the year? Offer it for auction! We have auctioned cookies, cakes, other desserts, and dinners for 6 or 8.
*Wine—We will be creating wine baskets for auction using your donations of wine and accessories such as glass markers, wine glasses, etc.
*Donate your time and talent in service, such as tutoring, music lessons, art lessons, handyman services, Christmas gift wrapping, cleaning, etc. The possibilities are endless!

The Silent Auction has been successful in previous years because of the kind generosity of so many parishioners and friends. It is helpful if you provide the retail price and a suggested minimum bid. If you have something to donate or additional ideas, or if you would like to help, please contact Fran Bingham at 627-0595 or cnfbing@dejazzd.com. Repeat donors are welcome!
¶RELIGIOUS GIFTS¶
Donations of new or gently used Catholic or Christian gifts, such as statues, plaques, advent wreaths, nativity sets, medals, musical globes, pictures, inspirational note cards or calendars are needed for the bazaar. ¶CHINESE AUCTION¶
Our parishioners have been extremely generous and creative when it comes to theme baskets for the bazaar. Please consider donating a completed theme basket. It may be as large or small as you like and in any type of container you like—or we can supply that. Ideas would be a golf basket, soccer basket, movie night, perfume/powder/lotions, candles, chocolates, teas, etc. If you would like to donate new items relating to a theme, we will incorporate them into a basket that we design ourselves.
